ChampionsGate master developer, Rida, reports the adjoining 21,000 plus square feet of retail, restaurants, and services will open at the same year end time 75% preleased to Italian Osteria, Yongkang Street, and Tijuana Flats restaurants, C.G. Salon, Lee Nails, GNC vitamins, Jersey Mike’s, a realty office, and Woof Gang Bakery with more stores in current negotiations.

In addition to retail space, the 308 unit GATE Luxury Apartment community is slated to open its doors the third week in January. It boasts an 8,000 square foot state of the art clubhouse including dual fitness center with virtual training, business centers with co-working space, bark park featuring an agility course, designer resort inspired pool and spa area, and many other grand amenities. Residents will take occupancy of the first 38 apartment unit building in late January early February.

Long before Matthew and Birgit Daniel were married, they moved to the United States and attended college here.  When they were planning their wedding, they had to find ways to accommodate over 100 guests from all over the world.  After asking around, they found out that vacation home rentals were right in their neighborhood, which had a huge impact on making their wedding a lasting memory for everyone and a chance to spend more quality time together.  Thus, the idea for Tropical Escape Vacation Homes was born.

Having worked in the hospitality industry for Walt Disney World in Orlando, Birgit and Matthew know a thing or two about providing superior guest experiences.  The couple say they were inspired to build a company that had everything under one roof -- and they did.  They offer over 70 home rentals with first class property management, professional interior design and furnishings, as well as new home sales.  This turnkey approach has made this couple’s business a success in 10 years.

After spending some time with them, you get the feeling they aren’t afraid to think big.  Bursting with enthusiasm, they proceeded to talk about their newest business venture, Blue Ginger, an upscale Indian Bar & Grill coming to the new Downtown ChampionsGate this fall.  

Scheduled to open this fall, their new fine dining destination sounds amazing.  They have assembled a famous restaurant interior design team known for their work at Season 52, Paradiso 37 at Disney Springs and Hard Rock Cafe.  To say we are excited is an understatement.  We can’t wait to experience, and share, this new restaurant in our next issue.

 

ChampionsGate is situated just south of the main gate entrance to the Walt Disney entertainment complex, and is being developed on over 1,500 acres just off Interstate 4.

Landsouth Construction is the premier builder of The Gate Luxury Apartments being built in the new Downtown ChampionsGate area.  In addition to apartments, numerous retail and restaurants are planned including Blue Ginger, an upscale Indian fusion restaurant.
